On Saturday, May 24th 2025, a Hapkido event will be held in Torrance to celebrate Hapkido and two of its early pioneers. Senior Grand Master Tae Man Kwon for serving the South Bay for over 50 years and Senior Grand Ho Jin Song, for serving Culver City and West Los Angeles for over 30 years. The event will include demonstrations, Tournament, Korean Drums, Korean Dancers and Food.
We are hosting a Tournament and a Recognition to our Senior Grand Master Kwon on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Torrance Cultural Center. The event registration begins at 8:30, with the tournament starting at 9:30 am. Grand Master Kwon's presentation will start at 11:30 am and the event is scheduled to end at approximately 3 pm
