Hapkido Family,

October started the 48th year of Grand Master Kwon's Hapkido School in the South Bay. In order to introduce our Hapkido Self Defense training to new students, I am pleased to announce a collaboration with the Sunshine Volleyball Club, which is looking to add Safety Courses as a part of it's programs and services.

All of their Volleyball teams travel out of state and stay in a variety of hotels across the country for Volleyball Tournaments. Lou Ann Selsky and the rest of the Sunshine Volleyball Club administrators hope that by incorporating Hapkido for the players, this will help to address the concerns of the parents and coaches for the safety of the girls and their families while traveling.

Sunshine Volleyball Club is one of Los Angeles County's premier Girls Club Volleyball. We will be piloting Safety and Self Defense Training classes for the South Bay teams starting this month. We are planning on hosting the first of 3 South Bay teams to come and train at our School.

For those of you interested in assisting with the training, I will be starting a review class starting next Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00. Training with the Sunshine students and families will be scheduled for Sundays from 12:30 to 2:00 (6 to 10 participants).

Please reply to the email if you think you would like to be a part of the training classes.

Thank you,

Earl Evans
